River Pearl Studio is the passion project of shopkeeper Gillian Pearl and a dedicated collective of family, friends, and local artists. Born and raised in Lancaster County, Gillian (with a hard g) spent many years working for small businesses before going fully freelance as an artist and tarot reader. She was raised in a family of artists and creatives who all grew up exploring the greenhouses of the family floral shop and the art studio of her painter Pop. It’s long been the family dream to open a shop and work together again.

When a former arts space became available, Marietta resident Gillian jumped at the chance to pursue the dream. Expanding beyond our family to include many talented makers from Lancaster and the surrounding area, River Pearl Studio features a wide range of wares in our boutique retail space. Our studio space hosts classes, workshops, and pop-up events meant to encourage community connection and creative play. We are thrilled to welcome you to our studio and can’t wait to see how we grow in 2025.
